One of the column in “The Hindu” which recently grabbed the interest of a lot of readers is the column ’su do ku’, a puzzle game. This column gain more fame in short time over it’s very old brother column, the “Crossword”. There is an official website for this puzzle here. Debian GNU/Linux users can user the package sgt-puzzles and run the game binary /usr/games/solo. Good game to kill time :-)

  3. Tried gnome-sudoku. The UI sucks! solo is much better. Is there a way to make pencil marks in gnome-sudoku? Why is that grid missing? They could have made the UI much simpler. Look at solo, it is much simpler and inituative. Still solo lacks some features. But it is fine. I love solo rather :-)
